Doors
The entry door is the focal point of your home. It is the first piece of your home that a guest or family member will touch when visiting. Virginia Exteriors has assisted many customers in the selection of a door system that best utilizes the space to assist in upgrading the entry way to there home. At Virginia Exteriors we only do full frame tear outs when installing doors and they must be exterior doors. We assure that the frame, jamb depth, and door slab size are ordered to custom fit your opening. Below we have a few different examples of the type of doors that are available. Types of Doors:
- French Doors – Double Doors generally with glass throughout or most of the length of the panel that has two active panels that can open either to the inside or outside of the home.
- Sliding Patio Door – A door that moves either left to right or reversed on a single track to allow and exit from the home. Used in a space where a swinging door might be hindered by furniture or other objects such as a kitchen or family room.
- Fiberglass Door – A door made with the intention to emulate a wood door with its look without all the maintenance. The fiberglass door also has a grain pattern to assist in giving the wood look a lot of homeowners are looking for. The efficiency of a fiberglass door is superior to a steel door.
- Storm Door – A door intended to cut down on drafts and driving rain it installed on the outside of the entry way to protect an entry door.
- Steel Door – Available in both smooth and textured finishes, a steel door is designed to give durability and strength to the entry into your home.
